IV. Daily maintenance

 

1. During normal inspection work, if damage caused by mechanical external force occurs on the surface partly, the coating product should be reapplied or re-coated on the damage.

2. The hydrophobic property of the coating should be observed in foggy and dewy weather. If the hydrophobic angle is less than 90º or the angle disappears and does not recover in 48 hours, reapplication or re-coating work should be arranged to be done.

V: Notes

 

1. The packing barrel should be sealed instantly after opening or using and the coating should avoid prolonged exposure to the air in order to prevent the coating from curing.

2. The application work should be carried out in good sunny weather.To guarantee the application quality, application work is not allowed in rainy, foggy, sandy weather .

3. The insulator surface should be cleaned before coating. Grease, dust, moisture remains should be strictly eliminated on the insulator surface.

4. Dusty, spalling, peeling coating should be removed on the original coating when re-coating the insulator that has already been coated. The original coating which is invalid but with good adhesion has no necessity to be eliminated. Re-coating work can be done on it directly and the re-coating quality will not be affected basically.

ⅤI. Use method (application site)

  1. We suggest that the product should be coated in power-off state by application personnel who have obtained professional application qualifications.
  2. The surface of the insulators should be cleaned before the application and the surface should be guaranteed to be dry without dust or oil etc..
  3. Application methods such as spraying and brush coating etc. can be adopted and the application work should be carried out in sunny weather.
  4. The thickness should be 0.3--0.6mm, and the coating should be complete, not defected and not missed.
  5. The surface will dry out in 45 minutes after coating. If the coating thickness does not achieve the project requirement, spraying or brush coating can be carried out again. It solidifies in 24--48 hours.

Ⅶ.Use range

The product is mainly used for the eternal insulators’ enduring ant-ipollution flashover in power systems, transformer substations, transmission line insulators, power plants, Power user s’ substation equipment and other electrical equipment. It is applicable for the eternal insulation antipollution flashover for socket transmission line equipment, transformer substation of various voltage levels or AC, DC systems that all operate under contaminated conditions at the environment temperature between -50℃~100℃. It prevents flashover and connection and improves the levels of the external insulation of the equipment.

The product is also widely used in various polluted environments such as metallurgy, cement, chemical industry, mine and salt mist etc.. It is largely used in systems of and above 500KV and performs excellent anti-pollution flashover property, and therefore guarantees secure operation of the power grid.
